Vertical filmmaking has exploded, from micro-documentaries and branded shorts, to narrative series made entirely for TikTok and Instagram. What started as “just for phones” is now commanding serious creative energy and even festival recognition. But while the visual language has evolved rapidly, post sound for vertical content is still playing catch-up.
